I know I have only just talked about my book buying ban in my latest post. I have not cheated before I even started. These are books that I got either before I started the book buying ban or were given to me as gifts for my birthday, which was on the 16th of February. I am now officially 24 years old 😀
It is a very good thing that I decided to check my comments and notifications on my blog today. Had I not, then this post wouldn’t have been posted until March 3rd, even though I had planned to publish it a month earlier than that. Why? Eeeerhm, well…I might have scheduled it for arch 3rd thinking I had scheduled it for February 3rd. It is possible, but HIGHLY unlikely. My bet is that aliens hacked into my WordPress account and changed my scheduled posts’ dates. Yes, that is what happened. *nods head*
The first month of 2017 is already over and I still have not realized how quickly 2016 went by. I won’t bore you with my non-existent news, I will get straight to the book haul part. Enjoy…!

I have no idea how long it’s been since I posted anything. It’s now 2017 and I just can’t believe how quickly time has passed! I was hoping for some R&R during the holidays, but that was all it was and nothing more.
Anyway, this is my first post for the new year. Happy 2017 my dear readers!
The Book Haul
I recently found out about this Read-a-thon from the Little Book Owl and I thought that it was a great idea for me to read some of the bigger books on my Bookshelf Love Challenge TBR.
The Read-a-thon will last from November 18th to December 1st and the goal is to read as many tomes over 500 pages during that time as possible. There are also challenges, but I won’t be doing any of them. Continue reading
